Multimeters

The multimeter, also called an AVO-meter, is one of the most used measurement instruments. Not only used by the most experienced electronic engineers, but also used by everyone who needs to measure once in awhile on electrical systems. The instrument invites to do a quick measurement without reflecting on how reliability the measurement will be.

Measurement deviation

You may expect that a multimeter measures all parameters correctly. Unfortunately this isn't something that can be blindly trusted. The showed measurement results dependents very much on the manner how the offered voltage or current are processed.
